The teachers doing their thing in and around the dojo.

Our teachers spend a lot of time taking falls, explaining techniques, and just taking care of business.

Chancey Westfall when he was ikkyu.

Here is a picture of Westfall Sensei when he wasn't a blackbelt yet. He was assisting Keely Sensei teach in the children's class. We require all potential teachers to assist teaching thirty hours of classes.

Boken kata.

Three of the teachers (Taylor Sensei, Keely Sensei, and McBride Sensei) practice kata. This is a regular activity by the black belts. They are all always strieving to improve their waza.

Big throw!

In this picture, Little Sensei has applied an Aiknage during randori and the uke is "flying." Chief of Police Ron Hoge looks on and is glad he is not the uke!!!

It is magic!

Barrick Sensei drops Mike Taylor Sensei and makes it look like magic. It was really an aikinage, but don't tell anyone!

Gyakuiriminage in randori.

McBride Sensei applies a reverse entering throw during randori. There are four "black belts to be" watching the action, including the uke!

Simewaza Sensei!

A now black belt applies a blood choke to Stroud Sensei in randori when he was a green belt. Mike Coleman (now a shodan) is the tori. Our teachers serve as ukes all the time to be sure our students are performing at the top of thier game. If the students can handle the instructors, then we know we are producing a quality student.

You wanna learn ukemi kid?

Mike Taylor Sensei attends to Aiden Garrett.

This stuff really works!

This picture is many years ago as McBride Sensei (Nidan) is a mere brown belt. Here you see him throwing two ukes at once. They were both holding his arms. Big mistake!

I've seen better heads on nickel beers!

Bill Whitley Sensei, Harry Little Sensei, and George Keely Sensei. "The good, the bad, and the ugly!" Fierce looking threesome.

Keely Sensei in randori.

Keely Sensei takes most of the pictures you see on this web site. It is not very often that we catch him in a picture. Here he is throwing the uke during randori. It is nice to see our "older" sensei in action.

Another aikinage in randori.

James Neal Sensei displaying his aikinage ura during randori. Sensei Leon Stroud is the falling or should I say "flying" uke.

Gary Roark Sensei, TKD, doing aikijujutsu.

This is a good picture of Roark Sensei (TKD) working out in our dojo. He is exhibiting a very good udekurumadaioshi. Gary works out with us a lot. He is an old friend of Keely Sensei.

Another BIG FALL in randori.

McBride Sensei shows off a great "body drop" during randori. The uke sails away!

Swanson Sensei shows off on duty.

James Swanson Sensei (Shodan) dropped by the dojo on duty, and Keely Sensei put him on the mat and to work. Swanson Sensei demonstartes a strong Gyakuudedori on his uke. Note the strong form and the "cool" demeanor!
